My name is Lysh, born in Indiana and am a Latina social and emotional learning educator known for my commitment to at-risk children and being an inspiration to many! Growing up, my passion for helping others came from a young age after seeing poverty in Mexico while on my yearly summer visits. These experiences inspired me to go into social work and education.
After completing my doctorate in education specializing in leadership in curriculum and instruction, I continued to make a name for myself. Aside from my professional accomplishments as a classroom teacher, professor, curriculum writer, and social and emotional learning coach, I am also a wife, Mama of three teenagers, and doggie Mama to two furry pups.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and reading. My family is my inspiration each and every day! They challenge me to be the best Mom I can be!
Overall, I am a committed educational consultant and freelance copywriter who has made a significant impact on children's and teachers’ lives. My dedication to social and emotional learning, equity, and educational neuroscience has given me a forward way of thinking about humanity and learning, and I strive to leave a positive impact on all.
